Irish Rose Consulting specializes in developing database applications to assist small and mid-size companies in automating their business processes. We have extensive experience in all aspects of software development, from developing specifications and designs through coding, testing, implementation and training. We can handle any single aspect of a software project, such as drafting a specification, or we can handle a project from start to finish. During every aspect of a project, our primary focus is to help our clients understand all the issues involved. This focus on communication allows us to work with a wide range of personnel, be they members of the client's staff or other outside consultants.
Our projects have touched on a wide range of industries, from aviation to agriculture to engineering to e-commerce. While most of our work is with small to mid-size companies, we have on occasion worked with companies up to the Fortune 400 level. We generally work in the upper midwest, though we have software running across North America and in Europe. We use all the latest gadgets to allow us to work equally well with clients across the street or across the nation.
On the technical side, we develop software for the Microsoft Windows operating systems. The most popular tools in our toolbox are Microsoft Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro, Office, Access and SQL Server. In the web development arena, we develop dynamic, data-driven web sites that are served by Microsoft's Internet Information Server using HTML and Active Server Pages.
