In September 2006 we’re relocating temporarily to Ireland. My wife Kathleen will be working on a year-long project for UW-Stout on the southeast coast of Ireland, and I’m going with her.
But fear not, the work of Irish Rose Consulting will continue. And since I’m in the technology business, I’m going to capitalize on modern technology to keep working for new and existing clients. Using voice-over-IP telephone service, I’ll have an American phone number and a toll-free number that will ring in Ireland - no international calling charges for you. I’ll use email and instant messaging software to stay in touch. And I’ll post regular updates to the Irish Rose Consulting web site so you can keep an eye on what’s happening. You can also check out my personal web site at http://www.dennisdeery.com, where I’ll be publishing regular updates about our experiences in Ireland.
It may not be business as usual, but we continue to welcome your business. Be the first on your block to hire a jet-setting international technology consultant! If you’d like to get together before we leave to make sure our communications are in place, give me a call or send me an email. I appreciate your business, and look forward to continuing my work with you. Even though we’ll be far away, we plan to prove that the world really is shrinking. We look forward to returning to Menomonie in summer of 2007.
